Hannah's 2nd Birthday Party Pictures!!

Well, the day finally arrived for Hannah's 2nd birthday party! She had a very good day. I think mom and I were more excited about it than she was, but that's how it goes. It was recently pointed out to me that I take and post a lot of pictures! It was then that I realized that it was true! My only defense to that is that I love my baby girl and I want to make sure that everyone that loves her gets to see her growing up. Besides, she takes such cute pictures and I can never decide which ones to post! So be prepared to get comfortable and journey with me through Hannah's birthday party. I promise that you will laugh and we might even get an "aawww..." out of you. So Enjoy!

Hannah is such a ham for the camera. She has tricky eyes as her great-gramma likes to say.

It may be upside down, but she is still concentrating very hard. She made sure to read every card. She didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

As you can tell, the new sunglasses from Grandma Kaminski were a hit. She made sure to always put them back in her purse for safekeeping. She really wasn't sure about the blinking lights, but I guess her love for sunglasses surpassed that.

Hannah loves her new purse. Hannah loves purses in general. She still carries this one around though. She is fond of saying that she is going to Cuba lately. I'm not sure where she got the notion to go there, but that's where she's always going.

I believe this was another trip to Cuba....she'll say, "bye mama" and I'll ask her where she's going....her enthusiastic answer is always...."CUBA!"

This was Hannah's party dress. When I picked it out at the store, I asked her if she liked it and she said, "It's pretty cute!" So that was the one we got!

This was the first present Hannah opened. It was a picture of her and Anissa from Sam's birthday party before she went to college. I'm sure that Hannah will carry it around, possibly in her purse. She loves looking at pictures.

This was an Elmo camera from mommy. Hannah is always trying to take pictures with my digital camera, so I figured it would be nice for her to have her own camera. I think she must like extreme close ups...

In this picture, Hannah is quite distracted from opening gifts. She is much more excited about the new kitchen from Grandma Sullivan. She also enjoyed wearing her new dress up shoes and jewelry. I was surprised that she kept the earrings on through the whole party.

Uncle David is showing Hannah how to feed her baby. Or maybe he's just playing with it himself...

This is one of my favorite pics. Sam thought it would be fun to try on one of Hannah's dress up earrings. I guess they're a little too small for his ears...it looks like they pinched just a bit.(ha ha!)

Here is the Dora Cake! Hannah was very enthusiastic about it. She blew out the candles and said, "AGAIN!" So we lit them again and she got to blow them out twice. She did very well with it.

This was the second round of blowing out the candles.

Here she is helping mama take the candles out of the cake.

MMM...good frosting mama! She liked it so much that when she took out a candle and licked off the frosting, she dipped it back into the cake for another taste!

Does this picture really need any explaining???

She had lots of fun playing with her cake. Not much of it got into her mouth though.

Dress up shoes and earrings! Boy do they go with her cute party dress!

I guess she had enough fun at her party. She was asleep before we were halfway home.

Finally, party day is almost here....and here is the much anticipated Dora cake!! I was so nervous while I was making it! After it was baked and cooled, I just stared at it, afraid to begin for fear of messing it up. But finally I made the first cut. As the steps progressed I got more and more excited! It was going to look so cute! And I must say that it was quite an accomplishment for me. After I was done, I compared the photo to the cake and they didn't look quite the same... I figured that there was only one way to be sure that it was ok. I got Hannah and showed it to her and asked her who it was.....and she said Dora! So it was all worth the worry and the work. So anyway, here's the cake.

Hannah's Birthday Pictures!

Here are the pictures from Hannah's birthday. We went to a carnival put on by a local daycare center. Hannah ate a hot dog, and got mustard up her nose, and popcorn too(not up her nose). She played on the train and the boat and the slide. She loved the balloons that were everywhere. She even got to pose with Dora and Boots. It was a great day. She was so tired during dinner that she almost fell asleep with her head in her plate!
This was actually at naptime on thursday. It was too cute to resist a picture.

And this was just as she was waking up. Doesn't look happy to see the camera. I guess she wasn't awake yet.

She didn't quite make it up the stairs. I guess she was still waking up.

I don't know what woke her up so fast, but she's ready to go, go, go.

What a face! She's always so full of energy! If I only had half of that...

This was one of her birthday presents. She vacuumed the whole kitchen about 5 times that morning.

What a good helper!

Hannah LOVED the train. She kept going back and sitting in it...in every car. But at least she would name the color of the car when she switched.

She kept throwing the balloon in the air and watching it fall. How easily amused...

My how we love balloons!

What a doll!
It's not as big as Papa Tim's boat, but she just had to drive it!

Hannah must have gone on the slide about 50 times! She does love the slide.
It was a tad windy and she had so much fun trying to catch the balloons!

She was just so excited to go to the carnival! She didn't know which direction to run first!

Boots! What a cutie, I still can't believe she stood there long enough for me to take the picture!
Dora! We love Dora! But seriously, isn't that the cutest?

I just had to have a picture of this!

She loved the train. Even when it wasn't moving, she would just sit there and look around at everything.

Love the headband. That was from Great-gramma.

Baddoons!(That's how Hannah says it, isn't that cute!)

What a cute baby in the mirror!

Hannah is looking at her reflection in the mirror. She likes her new birthday tiara.

Such a cutie pie!

Mama and Hannah....someone's getting tired of pictures..haha.

Sam's Birthday Pics

Sam's birthday isn't until Monday, but Dave and Kris had his party early so that Anissa could attend. She is going to college. I think they said they leave on Thursday night. I don't know what Hannah is going to do without Nissa to play with! She just loves to sit with Nissa on the stairs and play the piano too. Anyway, here are some pictures from the party!

Nissa and Hannah. Uncle Dave, Carl, Aaron, Sam, Anissa, and Hannah
There's Sam with his birthday cake. It was very tasty.

Hannah preferred to lick the frosting off a cupcake.

what beautiful smiling faces!

Hannah is playing the piano and singing while Nissa supervises. Her song went like this, "Singing a song...singing a song." Then she would ask me if I liked it. What a cutie pie!

Doesn't applause always follow a performance...

Hannah and Anissa. I think this was Hannah's first performance on a real piano. She had a blast!
